From November 13 – 15, this year’s Trophee Eric Bompard was supposed to take in Bordeaux, France. This was the fourth event in the International Skating Union’s 2015 – 2016 Grand Prix Series. However, in light of the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris on the night of the 13th, the rest of the event was cancelled after the first day. The short programs took place on the 13th before the attacks occurred. Two Japanese skaters placed in the top 3 in this round.
Shoma Uno took first place in the men’s short program, with a score of 89.56. This is Shoma’s personal best in the short program. “My short program is what has needed the most work on this season and I have finally been able to skate 70 percent of what I have been doing in practice. That gives me peace of mind,” he said.
Daisuke Murakaimi took third place behind Russia’s Maxim Kovtun, with his short program receiving a score of 80.24. He singled the second jump in his triple lutz-triple toe loop combination. “I never thought I would mess up there (on the combination jump). I would have got more points there if I had completed it as well,” Daisuke said.
On November 11, Suiyoubi no Campanella released their new album “Zipang.” Today, they released the music video for the album’s closing track, “Match Uri no Shoujo.” The music video for the midtempo song has a peaceful mood, but features several violent scenes. Frontwoman Koumai has several bad things happen to her over the course of the clip, resulting in blood and bruises. Check it out after the jump!

On January 13, AAA’s SKY-HI will release his new single “Iris Light.” Today, he released the music video the single’s B-side, “Enter The Dungeon.” Produced by JHETT a.k.a YAKKO, the track is darker and more aggressive than SKY-HI’s usual material. Playing off of the song’s title. the music video for the “Enter The Dungeon” was shot in a dungeon-like space plastered with graffiti. Check it out after the jump, along with the single’s tracklist!
In September, Daichi Miura released his new album, “FEVER.” Today, he released a choreography video for its title track. The video features Daichi and a team of dancers dancing in front of a rainbow-colored wall. The choreography in the clip was created by s**t kingz member NOPPO.
The video will be included on Daichi’s upcoming DVD / Blu-ray release “Choreo Chronicle 2012-2015 Plus.” Set for a December 16 release, the DVD / Blu-ray will contain various music and choreography videos Daichi has released over the years. The release will also contain a choreography video for another track from Daichi’s recent album, “MAKE US DO.”

On November 18, Nishino Kana will release 2 coupling best albums, “Secret Collection ~RED~” and “Secret Collection ~GREEN~.” Each album contains 2 new songs. Kana recently released the music video for one of those new songs, “A-Gata no Uta.” The song is the second track on “Secret Collection ~RED~.” In the clip, Kana is assisted in various household tasks by a team of little girls.
