On November 25, Bed In will release their new single, “C Chou Venus! / ZIG ZAG Heartbreak.” The 90s loving duo recently released the music video for the single’s first A-side. In the clip, the ladies of Bed In play office ladies. But once work is over, they change their looks and venture off into the night looking like party girls from Japan’s bubble economy era. Along the way, they transform some of their admirers and they join in on the fun. There’s also some weird guy who really likes flicking his tongue. On November 25, MISIA will release her new single, “Orphans no Namida.” The song serves as the ending theme for the TBS anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.” Today, MISIA released the music video for the song. In the clip, 2 children read a book about space and then dream about going on an adventure to space. MISIA also recently released a live short video of her performing “Orphans no Namida.” Check out both videos after the jump, along with the single’s covers and tracklist!
On November 25, Kato Miliyah will release her new single “Lipstick.” She recently released the music video for it. The clip for the emotional midtempo is composed of footage from Miliyah in her dressing room, on stage, at the gym, and wandering around Tokyo. Check it out after the jump!
On December 2, Superfly will release her new single “Kuroi Shizuku & Coupling Songs: ‘Side B’.” “Kuroi Shizuku” serves as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Mutsuu~Mieru Me.” Superfly recently released the music video for the song. The clip is set in a giant white room where black and white dots swirl around. Superfly is backed by a group of dancers in black and white clothing. Her actions in the video change the behavior of these dancers. Check it out after the jump!
Today, Nippon TV aired its year end music show, Best Artist 2015. The 4 hour live show was hosted by Arashi’s Sakurai Sho. The show featured several popular acts, including Arashi, Kanjani8, Hamada Bamyu Bamyu, Gesu no Kiwami Otome., AKB48, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, JUJU, and Nishino Kana. This year saw Ayumi Hamasaki release a new album, “A ONE”, and a new mini album, “sixxxxxx.” To end 2015, she’s releasing classical versions of some of the songs from these releases on a new album titled “Winter diary ~A7 Classical~.” It will be released on December 23. The album will feature violinist Okabe Machi on 3 songs: “WARNING”, “NO FUTURE”, and “The Show Must Go On.” “Winter diary ~A7 Classical~” will also feature a new song produced by Tetsuya Komuro. The song is called “Winter diary” and it is a sequel to her song “Summer diary” from “sixxxxxx.” Check out the album’s tracklist after the jump!
