This past June, “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SEASON2” ended and eleven contestants were selected to debut in the winning group, INI. They will make their debut on October 3 with the single “A.” The title stands for both “best in quality” and “the beginning.”
“A” will feature two lead songs, “Rocketeer” and “Brighter.” The former is described as a powerful, performance-driven song with heavy use of bass and beat. The song’s title reflects INI’s desire to go high like a rocket. The latter song is piano-driven and tells the story of loved one lighting the way for someone when they can’t continue on their own.
INI gave fans to the chance to vote for which of the two songs would be their focus song in terms of promotion of “A.” With over 70% of the vote, “Rocketeer” was the winner.
The music video for “Rocketeer” has also been released. Check it out below, along with more information on INI’s debut single!
