°C-ute release two new pvs for “Ai wa Maru de Seidenki” & “Singing ~Ano Koro no You ni~”

The idol world’s official °C-utie Queens °C-ute have released two new videos for their upcoming triple a-side single “Mugen Climax / Ai wa Maru de Seidenki / Singing ~Ano Koro no You ni~”.

“Ai wa Maru de Seidenki” is a stark contrast to the main a-side “Mugen Climax”. A very sweet and more “traditional” idol song, in this video the girls gush about a certain special someone whilst doing arts and crafts around their house. Rounding out the single is the mid-tempo “Singing ~Ano Koro no You ni~”, the lyrics talk about their love for singing and being idols, perhaps it can be interpreted as a “thank you” to their fans.

“I never had enough sleep when I was young. My precious youth […] I’m truly happy that I met you; I have no regrets”

Expect some tears to be shed from both the girls and wota when this is performed live! “Mugen Climax / Ai wa Maru de Seidenki / Singing ~Ano Koro no You ni~” will be released on November 4th, check out the two PVs below.

Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons founder, to be Subject of Met Costume Gala and Institute Exhibit

2017 is going to be the year of Rei Kawakubo for the Met Costume Institute. This morning the Metropolitan Museum of Art announced that the legendary founder of Comme des Garçons, was going to be the subject of an exhibit and the inspiration of the Met Costume Gala. The exhibit, that will open May 4th, will include 120 pieces spanning the designer’s 35 year career. Some important features to look out for will be some articles of clothing from her first ever collection from 1981. This is only the second time that the Met has featured a living designer as the subject of an exhibit; the first being Yves Saint Laurent.

As for the gala it will be co-chaired by Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour; with Rei Kawakubo as honorary chair.
