With the demise of SMAP, it comes as no surprise that their long-running variety show, SMAP x SMAP, would soon meet a similar fate. The date of that fate has now been announced by Fuji TV: December 26. The final episode of SMAP x SMAP will air on that date at 6:30 PM JST  – 11:18 PM JST.
