Naniwa Danshi, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, LiSA, YOASOBI, and BE:FIRST Top the Oricon Charts for the Week of 11/8 – 11/14

This week, Naniwa Danshi topped the Combined Single chart with their debut single “Ubu LOVE”, with 711,512 points in its first week.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER topped the Combined Album chart with their new mini album “Chaotic Wonderland”, with 173,478 points in its first week.

Naniwa Danshi also topped the Single chart with “Ubu LOVE”, selling 705,787 copies in its first week.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER also topped the Album chart with “Chaotic Wonderland”, selling 170,545 copies in its first week.

LiSA retook the top spot on the Digital Single chart with her digital single “Akeboshi”, selling 16,202 copies its fourth week, topping the chart for the third non-consecutive week.

YOASOBI topped the Digital Album chart with their new mini album “E-SIDE”, selling 3,308 copies in its first week.

BE:FIRST topped the Streaming chart for the second consecutive week with their single “Gifted.”, with 9,097,840 streams in its second week.

BE:FIRST, SEVENTEEN, Ayase, and Ed Sheeran Top the Billboard Japan Charts for the Week of 11/1 – 11/7

This week, BE:FIRST topped the Hot 100 single chart with their debut single “Gifted.”, with 23,658 points.

SEVENTEEN retook the top spot on the Hot Albums chart with their mini album “Attacca”, topping the chart for the second non-consecutive week.

BE:FIRST also topped the Artist 100 chart.

Ayase topped the Hot 100 Lyricists chart for the 12th consecutive week.

Ayase also topped the Hot 100 Composers chart for 12th consecutive week.

BE:FIRST also topped the Streaming Songs chart with “Gifted.”

BE:FIRST also topped the Download Songs chart with “Gifted.”

Ed Sheeran topped the Download Albums chart for the second consecutive week with his album “Equals.”

Nominees and Winners Announced for “63rd Japan Record Awards”

On December 30, the “63rd Japan Record Awards” will air on TBS from 5:30 PM JST – 10 PM JST.

The nominees for the Grand Prix are AKB48, Awesome City Club, Junretsu, Da-iCE, DA PUMP, NiziU, Nogizaka46, Hikawa Kiyoshi, Daichi Miura, and LiSA.

The nominees for Best New Artist are INI, TAEKO, Macaroni Enpitsu, and Mochizuki Ruka.

Performers Announced for “72nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen”

On December 31, the “72nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” air. As previously reported, the show will be hosted by Oizumi Yo, Kawaguchi Haruna, and Wakuda Mayuko.

Naniwa Danshi, JO1, LiSA, and More to Perform on “2021 FNS Kayousai”

This year’s edition of “FNS Kayousai”, Fuji TV’s year end music special, will take place on December 1 (6:30 PM to 11:28 PM JST) and 8 (6:30 PM to 11:03 PM JST). The show will be hosted by Arashi’s Aiba Masaki and Fuji TV announcer Nagashima Yumi. This year marks the third time the duo has hosted the show.

The first set of acts performing on the show has been announced! It includes the likes of Naniwa Danshi, JO1, LiSA, SixTONES, Uma Musume, Aoi Shota, Momoiro Clover Z, and Ai Otsuka.

There are several acts that will be performing as part of their anniversaries. Yakushimaru Hiroko is celebrating her 40th, EXILE their 20th, and AKB48 their 15th (with a special graduated member reappearing for the night). See who else is performing below!

SEVENTEEN retook the top spot on the Combined Album chart with their new mini album “Attacca”, with 100,057 points in its third week, topping the chart for the second non-consecutive week.

INI also topped the Single chart with “A”, selling 508,474 copies in its first week.
