BiSH announced on the December 24 episode of Nippon TV’s “Sukkiri” that they will disband in 2023.
The group held a 8 AM concert, titled “THiS is FOR BiSH”, at Tokyo’s Nakano heavysick ZERO. It was a recreation of their first concert, which occurred in May 2015, down to the name. It was also streamed live on YouTube and attracted 70,000 viewers.
At the end of the concert, the disbandment was announced. Group member Sentochihiro Chicchi made the announcement, saying that she was happy to have fans go with them on the journey from having their first concert at a venue with an 80 person capacity to now. She did promise that BiSH has many things in store for their final year, including monthly releases all of 2022, concerts, and festivals hosted by the group.
The reason for the breakup is BiSH wanting to end things while at their peak.

Earlier this week, Oricon released the first part of its year end charts, covering the period from 12/14/20 – 12/12/21. Oricon has now released the second part, which consists of the combined charts.
BTS is the best selling artist of the year, making them the first foreign act to top this chart.
Their song “Butter” topped the combined single chart, while their album “BTS, THE BEST” topped the combined album chart.
At 5 PM JST on December 24, “MUSIC STATION ULTRA SUPER LIVE 2021” will air. The show will feature performances by the likes of Snow Man, Tokyo Jihen, YOASOBI, NiziU, Aimyon, LiSA, King Gnu, Daichi Miura, King & Prince, AI, Nogizaka46, DISH//, Hoshino Gen, and Naniwa Danshi.

On December 22, Tokyo Jihen will have two releases!
The first is their all time best album, “Sogo.” The two CD set includes focuses on songs from their 2004 debut to today, which sold well phyiscally and digitally, as well as ones that were popular during their concerts. “Sogo” contains 30 songs in total, including two new songs.
“Sogo” comes in three editions: a 2CD+DVD+Cassette / 2CD+Blu-ray+Cassette limited edition, a 2CD+DVD+Cassette+Cassette Player / 2CD+Blu-ray+Cassette+Cassette Player Universal Music Store limited edition, and a 2CD regular edition.
The DVD / Blu-ray that comes with the limited editions is the second of the two new releases. It is a video compilation called “Prime Time.” It contains all 28 of Tokyo Jihen’s music videos, along with some bonus content.

The year is coming to an end, and Oricon has now released its year end charts for 2021. These charts measure the period from 12/14/20 – 12/12/21.
Snow Man‘s “Grandeur” is the best selling single of 2021. It is this year’s only million-selling single. Their 2020 single “KISSIN’ MY LIPS / Stories” also sold a million last year, making Snow Man the first male act since L’Arc~en~Ciel in 1999 to have two consecutive years with million-selling singles.
BTS‘ “BTS, THE BEST” is the best selling album of the year. This is first time since 1984, when Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller” did it, that a foreign act has topped the year end album chart.
Yuuri‘s “Dry Flower” is the best selling digital single and most streamed song of 2021.
YOASOBI‘s “THE BOOK” is also the best selling digital album of the year.
On December 31, the “72nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” will air. The show will feature performances by the likes of Snow Man, Tokyo Jihen, NiziU, Perfume, MISIA, Aimyon, YOASOBI, and LiSA. The song list for the show has been released, and can be seen below!
