This week, Matsuri nine. topped the Oricon single chart with their new single “HARE Hare Carnival”, selling 102,359 copies in its first week.
NEWS topped the Oricon album chart with their new album “EPCOTIA”, selling 116,745 copies in its first week.
Yonezu Kenshi topped the Oricon digital single chart for the sixth consecutive week with his single “Lemon”, selling 96,948 copies in its sixth week.
The “Greatest Showman” soundtrack topped the Oricon digital album chart for the sixth consecutive week, selling 7,018 copies in its 16th week.
This week’s guests were Honma Akimitsu, Morley Robertson, Doctor Capital, Michael Kaneko, Takahashi Shigeo, and Yamamoto Sayaka. Akimitsu, Michael, and Doctor Capital also performed with Kanjani8.

On April 7, CDTV will celebrate its 25th anniversary with the special “CDTV Shuku 25 Shunen Special.” The show will begin at 7 PM JST and run for about three hours. It will be hosted by Nakai Masahiro.
The show will feature several performers, who are seen as indispensable to CDTV’s history. Two groups of guests have been announced. The first featured the likes of Perfume, Nishino Kana, and Kis-My-Ft2. The second group as also announced and it includes Ayumi Hamasaki. See who else is performing below!

Evil Line Records will release a new ‘Sailor Moon’ tribute album on April 4th to commemorate the iconic series’ 25th anniversary. The album is simply titled ‘Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY MEMORIAL TRIBUTE’. The album jacket is drawn by the manga author Naoko Takeuchi.
Such artists as LiSA, bish, and Etsuko Yakushimaru have contributed to the making of the album. The compilation album consists of eleven songs in total, including two bonus tracks that are performed by the ‘Sailor Moon Crystal’ voice cast. Listen to the preview clips below.
It has been revealed that Yamashita Tomohisa will be making his international debut! American actor and rapper Jaden Smith will serve as his creative director.
The Japanese Micheal Jackson and Smith recently crossed paths at the 26th Tokyo Girls Collection 2018 Spring/Summer runway show, which had media and fans buzzing. Yamapi appeared as an unannounced special guest. He sashayed down the runway wearing a hood, with the audience erupting into cheers when he finally revealed his identity.
He showed off his perfect fluency in English by introducing Smith to the excited crowd.
