On October 3, tofubeats will release his fourth album, “RUN.” On July 27, he will give fans a taste of what’s to come on the album by releasing its title track as a digital single. “RUN” is a pop song with heavy use of synthesizers. tofubeats provides autotuned vocals on the song. The video for “RUN” has also been released. It was shot in Tokyo and Kobe using a drone.
Also set for digital release on July 27 is the “FANTASY CLUB REMIX & INSTRUMENTAL.” This is the supplemental album to his May 2017 album “FANTASY CLUB.”

The collaborations between AKLO and JAY’ED continue! The next chapter in this series is the digital single “Under the Cliff”, out July 27. AKLO’s auto-tuned rap fuses well with JAY’ED smooth vocals. AKLO recently released the music video for the BACHLOGIC-produced song, which can be seen below!
Back on July 11, SALU released the digital single “Good Vibes Only”, a collaboration with JP THE WAVY and EXILE SHOKICHI. This was his first releasing since joining LDH MUSIC. SALU has now released the music video for the song and it features he and his collaborators at a pool party. Check it out below!

On July 25, Sato Chiaki, the frontwoman of Kinoko Teikoku, will release her first solo work, “SickSickSickSick.” This EP is more electronic than Kinoko Teikoku’s work, due in part to the release’s co-producer, Sunahara Yoshinori. This shift in sound can be heard in the EP’s trailer, which was recently released and can be seen below, along with more information on the EP!
On July 24, 2020, the 2020 Olympics will open in Tokyo. To mark this occasion, NHK aired another episode of its special series “Uchimura Gorin Sengen.” Like the first episode, this episode also looked at Japan’s Olympic past and its future. The show also featured performances by Foorin, a new children’s group created by Yonezu Kenshi, and Perfume.
