On May 18, tofubeats will release his fifth album, “REFLECTION.” This is his first album since December 20018’s “RUN.” The album will include collaborations with Neibess, UG Noodle, Kotetsu Shoichiro, and Nakamura Kaho.

The album will come in a limited edition and a regular edition, with the limited edition including a set of twelve postcards that document the cover art over the course of tofubeats’ career.

tofubeats will also release his first book on the same day as “REFLECTION.” “tofubeats no Nancho Nikki” started off as the diary he started three years and four months ago when he was diagnosed with sudden deafness. He was going to turn it into the album’s liner notes, but it ended up exceeding 300,000 characters, due the difficult of releasing an album during the COVID-19 pandemic. Life events covered in the book include leaving his hometown of Kobe for Tokyo and getting married.

On May 18, BE:FIRST will release their second single, “Bye-Good-Bye.” The song serves as the theme song for the NTV drama series “Sayonara no Sono Mae ni”, which airs during the morning show “ZIP!” The song was written by sty and SKY-HI, and composed by Chaki Zulu.

BE:FIRST’s new single will also include the song “Betrayal Game.” The song serves as the theme song for the YTV / NTV drama series “Tantei ga Hayasugiru ~Haru no Torikku Gaeshi Matsuri~.” The song was written by SKY-HI, with eill and Miyata “Lefty” Ryo writing the top line. A.G.O composed the song.

On May 28 at 11:55 AM JST, ytv will air the special music show “Kamioto -Kamigata Otomatsuri-.” The show will run for five hours and five minutes. In addition to performances, the show will also feature interviews, comedy, and anime theme song specials.

ytv announcers Sawaguchi Miho and Sato Kana will serve as program progress hosts. Unabara Yasuyo Tomoko serves as talk navigator. Ae! group serves as the show’s special supporter. New York serves as the event navigator.
