IZ*ONE, Jaejoong, Yonezu Kenshi, and Official HIGE DANdism top the Oricon Charts for the Week of 9/23 – 9/29

This week, IZ*ONE topped the Combined Single chart with their single “Vampire”, with 207,108 points in its first week in the chart’s top 10.

Jaejoong topped the Combined Album chart with his new cover album “Love Covers”, with 66,472 points in its first week.

IZ*ONE also topped the Single chart with “Vampire”, selling 205,032 copies in its first week.

Jaejoong also topped the Album chart with “Love Covers”, selling 63,396 copies in its first week.

Yonezu Kenshi topped the Digital Single chart for the seventh consecutive week with his digital single “Uma to Shika”, selling 42,182 copies in its seventh week.

Jaejoong also topped the Digital Album chart with “Love Covers”, selling 2,906 copies in its first week.

Official HIGE DANdism topped the Streaming chart for the 19th consecutive week with their song “Pretender”, with 3,672,389 streams in its 22nd week.

Masayoshi Yamazaki to release New Album “Quarter Note” in November

Singer/songwriter Masayoshi Yamazaki has announced that he will be releasing a new studio album titled “Quarter Note” on November 13th. “Quarter Note” will be Yamazaki’s first record since 2016’s “LIFE” and is set to include his previously released tracks “I’m Home”, “Eyes On You”, “Kaisou Densha”, and “Kagefumi”, as well as seven new songs for a total of 11.

Ahead of the album’s release date, the PV for the movie version of “Kagefumi” has been uploaded to his label’s YouTube channel. The video features scenes from the movie of the same name – Yamazaki’s first starring film in 14 years. The longplay’s Limited Edition will include a second CD which contains the additional songs that Yamazaki contributed to the movie’s soundtrack.
