SixTONES and Snow Man are gifting their fans on Christmas day with a release of their debut songs’ music videos on their own official Youtube channel! For the first time, Johnnys is debuting two groups simultaneously. The joint debut single will be released on January 22, despite the groups being under different record labels. SixTONES will debut under Sony Music while Snow Man under avex.

SixTONES debut song “Imitation Rain” is written and composed by X Japan’s YOSHIKI. “Imitation Rain” is described as an intense song which incorporates a tender and beautiful “YOSHIKI melody”.

Snow Man’s debut song “D.D.” or Dancing Dynamite highlights the groups acrobatic and dance skills.

Nishikido Ryo topped the Combined Album chart with his debut solo album “NOMAD”, with 77,693 points in its first week.

MAG!C☆PRINCE also topped the Single chart with “Try Again”, selling 64,476 copies in its first week.

Ryo also topped the Album chart with “NOMAD”, selling 76,237 copies in its first week.

LiSA retook the top spot on the Digital Single chart with her single “Gurenge”, selling 18,879 copies in its 34th week, and topping the chart for the third non-consecutive week.

Kinashi Noritake topped the Digital Album chart with his new best album “Kinashi Funk The Best”, selling 2,921 copies in its first week.

Official HIGE DANdism topped the Streaming chart for the 30th consecutive week with their song “Pretender”, with 3,678,807 streams in its 33rd week.

The year is coming to an end, and Oricon has now released its year end charts for 2019. These charts measure the period from 12/10/18 – 12/8/19.

Arashi is the best selling artist of the year, topping this chart for the eighth time and the first time since 2017. Arashi’s revenue topped ¥20 billion for the first time since 2001.

AKB48‘s “Sustainable” is the best selling single of 2019, leading AKB48 to top this chart for the tenth consecutive year.

Arashi’s “5×20 All the BEST!! 1999-2019” is the best selling album of the year, making this Arashi’s seventh album to top this chart. The album is their, and Johnny’s & Associates’, first album to pass the 2 million mark. It’s also the first album to cross the 2 million mark in its first year since 2006.

Yonezu Kenshi‘s “Lemon” is the best selling digital single of the year for the second consecutive year.

Hoshino Gen‘s “POP VIRUS” is the best selling digital album of 2019.

Official HIGE DANdism‘s “Pretender” is the most streamed song of the year.

AKB48’s “Sustainable” also topped the combined single chart.

Arashi’s “5×20 All the BEST!! 1999-2019” also topped the combined album chart.

Arashi topped the music DVD and music Blu-ray charts with their release “5×20 All the BEST!! CLIPS 1999-2019.”
