It has been announced that SEKAI NO OWARI have penned the theme song for upcoming film ‘Princess Jellyfish‘.
Based on the manga of the same name, ‘Princess Jellyfish’ centers around an apartment building in Tokyo where the only tenants are otaku women, each having a particular fixation. Tsukimi Kurashita (Rena Nounen), whose obsession is Jellyfish of all kinds, meets Kuranosuke Koibuchi (Masaki Suda), a boy who enjoys the art of drag – crossdressing – much to the confusion of his rich political family, who would prefer if dressed “respectably”. He has absolutely no interest in his family’s politics and would prefer to live life working in the fashion industry. Tsukimi keeps his secret from her neighbors, and Kuranosuke helps Tsukimi improve her appearance.
The new song ‘Mermaid Rhapsody‘ takes lyrical inspiration from the manga and a day on set during the film’s shooting schedule. The song reportedly has a strong hidden message for a pop production.
The film ‘Princess Jellyfish’ will be released December 27th.

Miranda Kerr has been featured on the cover of the November issue of “VOGUE JAPAN”. The outfit theme chosen for her is Japan-specific: geisha, samurai, manga roles.
This issue is being used for “VOGUE JAPAN”’s 15th anniversary and was shot by world renowned photographer Mario Testino.
In the magazine there is an interview with Miranada where she talks about the shoot with Mario, how she feels Japan is her ‘second home’, and her beauty secrets.
The November of “VOGUE JAPAN” will go on sale on September 27th.

Abe Fuyumi released her most recent work ‘ABEFUYUMI EP‘ back in August and has just uploaded the video for one of the tracks ‘A thousand days of love‘. It features a juxtaposition of her ethereal vocals with the slightly unnerving yet nostalgic CG art direction from Alvaro.
‘ABEFUYUMI EP’ is a 5-song EP that took 18 months to perfect with the help of collaborators like Yoshihide Otomo, Grapevine and Kenta Maeno. The EP contains its own world, an ecosystem of unique lyrics and melodies that give you the sensation of floating.

Anna Tsuchiya is back with a new music video. The video release is to promote her upcoming mini album “LUCIFER”. The music video features Anna representing the devil but also a fallen angel. Which coincides with the image of good and evil. This cool rock song will be used as the CM song for new survival horror game ‘Psycho Break’.

On September 22nd, singer Aya Matsuura (28) and w-inds. vocalist Keita Tachibana (28) announced that they are expecting a child. They released a joint statement through their agencies.
“We keep getting more and more things to bond us together as a married couple. This time we are being blessed with a child. Right now we are preparing our minds and bodies for the delivery. We hope that you can all watch over us warmly. We will give another announcement once the baby has arrived safely.”
Matsuura is currently 7 months pregnant and is expected to deliver by the end of the year. The couple have been seeing each other for 12 years and finally got married on August 4th of last year. This is the couple’s second year of marriage and they have finally been blessed with their first child.
