The highly anticipated Attack on Titan – Part 1 opens to number 1 this week. Following in close second is Minions. HERO moves to number 3, only slightly decreasing its numbers from last week. On the other hand, The Boy and The Beast shows impressive consistency at 4th place. With its strong showing (236,689 admissions on its fourth weekend) it might end up the biggest summer blockbuster of the year.
Results would depend on the coming Obon Festival this weekend with several new movies releasing such as Jurassic World, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Boruto: Naruto the Movie and Japan’s Longest Day.

Gen’s back again this week, along with a newcomer and a blast from the past. Find out what various staff members thought of the songs that topped the physical and digital charts this week and share your thoughts on them too!
On the single side, Nogizaka46 topped the chart with “Taiyou Knock”, with its CD+DVD Type-A selling 42,796 copies. This made it the best selling single this week. Between its 3 editions, “Taiyou Knock” sold 115,319 copies, making it the best selling single this week.
On the album side, DREAMS COME TRUE took with “DREAMS COME TRUE THE BEST! Watashi no Dorikamu”, with its 1 3CD edition selling 74,436 copies. This made it the best selling album for the third week in a row.
NEWS new song SIRIUS is featured in the new commercial for Wacoal WING’s new 2015 Autumn New Collection Miss Slender bra line. The product has a 15sec CM and a 45sec backstage CM, both featuring NEWS’ song. This is the second time the group’s song is used as a CM theme song for a WING commercial, following last year’s NYARO CM song.

Momoiro Clover Z has announced that they will be releasing their 3rd and 4th album simultaneously on February 17, 2016. The albums are currently untitled, but each will be released in a Limited and Regular edition.
Moreover, the group will embark on a Dome Tour that will cover 5 locations and 9 dates starting February 20 at Nagoya Dome. Check out some of the released details below.
“LOVER” is AAA’s final single for their seven consecutive single release for their 10th anniversary. The single was released last July 29.
Each single of the anniversary project includes an application ticket for AAA 10th Anniversary Special LIVE events, with a ticket to attend events for September 13 and 14 at Yoyogi First Gymnasium Tokyo.
