At 7 PM JST on December 25, this year’s edition of Music Station Super Live will air. The show will be about 4 hours long. Many acts will perform on the show, including Arashi, AKB48, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, Perfume, Nishino Kana, Gesu no Kiwami Otome., L’Arc~en~Ciel, X JAPAN, Mr.Children, and YUKI.
Arama! Japan will be live streaming the show and hosting a chat as well so that readers can chat with each other during the show! Links to the show and the chat are after the jump!
Last week, we announced The 2015 Arama! Japan Awards. You, the readers, selected who would be nominated for our awards show. The voting for the preliminary round was closed earlier this week and we now have the final nominees. There’s a little bit of everything here. The big nominees are Arashi, Gesu no Kiwami Otome., and Sandaime J Soul Brothers. There are some expected nominees, but also some surprises.
Voting will open now and runs until January 2. On January 3, the winners will be announced. There are more details on that to come.

KAT-TUN will be releasing their new single titled “TRAGEDY” on February 10, 2016. TRAGEDY will serve as the opening theme for NTV’s animated series “Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo R”. The song is described as an urban rock song with a heavy beat melody tinged with sorrow. Furthermore, it captures the anime’s mysterious outlook on the world, showcasing KAT-TUN’s unwavering world.
The single will also include the song “Atsukunare”, theme song of NTV’s “Going! Sports & News”. As reported, member Taguchi Junnosuke who announced his departure from the group next spring, will be participating in the single.

Check out the first teaser trailer and visuals released for the new movie “Sekai kara Neko ga Kieta nara” (If Cats Disappeared From the World) starring Sato Takeru and Miyazaki Aoi. The visual and the trailer of the movie features World Heritage Site Iguazu Falls in the border of Brazil and Argentina. The movie is slated for release on May 14, 2016.
The movie is based from a serialised novel written by film producer Kawamura Genki and distributed in LINE in 2012. The movie will be directed by Nagai Akira.
In the film, Sato plays a mailman who learns he has not long to live. A devil then appears before him and offers to extend his life in exchange for something in the world that will disappear. Sato plays the dual role of the postman and the devil while Miyazaki plays the former lover of the postman. Hamada Gaku plays the postman’s friend.
