Joker Game Full Trailer Out, KAT-TUN sings “Dead or Alive” for theme song

The full trailer for the spy suspense movie “Joker Game” starring Kamenashi Kazuya has been released. Filmed in Japan, Singapore and Batam, Indonesia, the newly released trailer showcases more action scenes as it gives a peek inside the intimate brain game revolving around the secret document called “black notebook”. 

As also previewed from the trailer, KAT-TUN will be singing the theme song titled “Dead or Alive”. No single release has been confirmed yet.

On the eve of World War II, an international Asian city becomes a hub of a high-stakes “spy game” as spies from countries such as Japan, the UK, the Soviet Union, and Germany in order to give their respective countries any possible advantage in world diplomacy.

Kato (Kamenashi) is about to receive a severe punishment for disobeying his superiors when he’s scouted by a man named Colonel Yuuki (Iseya Yusuke) to become a spy for the secret intelligence agency D Kikan. He endures rigorous training and is eventually given his first mission as a secret agent. Kato must infiltrate the multicultural city referred to “Devil’s Metropolis” in order to take a critical “black notebook” from U.S. Ambassador Graham.

Kato attempts to find the notebook along with a mysterious woman named Rin (Fukada Kyoko). Meanwhile, D Kikan gets caught up in a fierce rivalry with a radical faction of the Imperial Japanese Army.

The movie opens January 31, 2015. The movie is directed by Irie Yu and is based on the bestselling novel of the same title written by Koji Yanagi Other cast include Ozawa Yukiyoshi, Koide Keisuke, Koji Yamamoto, Shibukawa Kiyohiko, Taguchi Hiromasa, Mitsuishi Ken, and Shimada Kyusaku.
