This year marks the 20th anniversary of popular rock band Spitz’ seminal album “Hachimitsu”, which included their classic songs “Robinson”, “Namida ga Kirari☆”, “Y”, and the title track “Hachimitsu”. In celebration of this special occasion, the band have announced that there will be a special tribute version of the album (also including Robinson’s original coupling track “Ore no Subete”) titled “JUST LIKE HONEY ~’Hachimitsu’ 20th Anniversary Tribute~” released on December 23rd, with an Analog variant set to stock shelves starting on January 27th of 2016.
The acts involved in this special project are varied, from rock bands like ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION and indigo la End, to singers such as Kiryuin Sho (from Golden Bomber) and Sokabe Keiichi. It has not yet been officially announced which acts will be singing which song, so keep a look out for our further updates on this topic.
