Another day, another Japanese celebrity drug arrest! Hot on the heels on Erika Sawajiri‘s drug scandal, Makihara Noriyuki is embroiled in another drug scandal of his own! Yes, this is not his first time at this rodeo! He was arrested in 1999 for possessing a stimulant. After admitting he used drugs, he received a one and a half year suspended sentence.
It seems that Noriyuki couldn’t leave the stimulants alone. He was arrested earlier today for possession of 0.083 grams of a stimulant. The drugs were found at his Tokyo condo in April 2018. Police have since concluded that he owned the drugs, leading to today’s arrest.
