More information was recently released at the Tokyo Game Show 2014 regarding the demo of Final Fantasy 15. Speaking at a Square Enix showcase event held at the convention, Final Fantasy 15 director Hajime Tabata revealed and explained more about the upcoming demo of Final Fantasy 15, which it titled Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae.
Speaking on the length of the actual demo, Tabata stated “It can be cleared in about an hour if you play normally. If you decide to fully explore the dungeon that we have prepared for the demo, it will take you about three hours to complete.” He went on to say that “the completion of the demo will offer a surprise for fans of Final Fantasy” and “that if all goes well with the planned development (of the demo), that I may even add in a Chocobo“.
Tabata also mentioned that he “wanted to make a living world” with Final Fantasy 15. He expressed some of these elements by showcasing a day and night cycle, as well as changes in the weather. Tabata concluded by stating that the demo “was only 80-90% complete” at the time and he will like to show a more completed version at Jump Festa 2015, which will be held December 21st, 2014.
