Last year, the book “M Aisubeki Hito ga Ite” was released. It chronicled the life of Ayumi Hamasaki, from debut to stardom. It even confirmed the long time rumor that Ayu was dating Avex head Max Matsuura.
There was immediate talk of the book becoming a drama, with Erika Sawajiri being rumored to play Ayu. Her recent legal trouble has derailed that, but a new star is set to take her place. Kalen Anzai, Avex’s Reiwa diva will now play Avex’s Heisei diva!
The drama version of “M Aisubeki Hito ga Ite” will air on TV Asahi and Ameba TV on Saturdays, starting in April.
Miura Shohei also stars in the drama playing a character named Masa.
