This week, Kis-My-Ft2 topped the Oricon single chart with their new single “LOVE”, selling 175,655 copies in its first week.

JUNHO (From 2PM) topped the Oricon album chart with his new mini album “Souzou”, selling 40,907 copies in its first week.

DA PUMP topped the Oricon digital single chart with their single “U.S.A.”, selling 22,790 copies in its sixth week.

Utada Hikaru topped the Oricon digital album chart for the third consecutive week with her album “Hatsukoi”, selling 6,375 copies in its third week.

SKE48, Utada Hikaru, DA PUMP, and Yonezu Kenshi Top the Billboard Japan Charts for the Week of 7/2 – 7/8

This week, SKE48 topped the Hot 100 single chart with their new single “Ikinari Punch Line.”

Utada Hikaru topped the Hot Albums chart for the second consecutive week with her album “Hatsukoi.”

DA PUMP topped the Streaming Songs chart for the third non-consecutive week with their single “U.S.A.”

Yonezu Kenshi topped the Download Songs chart for the for the 14th non-consecutive week with his single “Lemon.”

Utada Hikaru also topped the Download Albums chart for the second consecutive week with her album “Hatsukoi.”

KAT-TUN is “Unstoppable” in new music video off the album “CAST”

KAT-TUN dropped their newest album since re-charging last July 18. Titled “CAST”, the new album gifts awaiting fans with 17 new songs and more! The album is infused with the feelings this group has for [the future] from the three members, each releasing their own unique qualities, and packages up KAT-TUN as they continue to walk forward.

Spearheading the album is the lead song “Unstoppable”, a nod to KAT-TUN’s trademark pop rock style. The song starts off with a dramatic, string-laden intro and infuses operatic layers all throughout its grand production. A dramatic PV for project song “薫 (Kun)” has also been released. The Recording Industry Association of Japan Releases Its Digital Certifications for June

Three songs from 2018 were certified Gold this month for selling 100,000 copies: Eir Aoi’s “Ryuusei”, Utada Hikaru’s “Hatsukoi”, and Masaharu Fukuyama’s “Rei -ZERO-.”

Two albums were certified Gold this month for selling 100,000 copies: Yonezu Kenshi’s “BOOTLEG” and the “Greatest Showman” soundtrack.
