Negoto will embark on nationwide tour, “Oguchi Pokan! LAST TOUR ~Netemo Sametemo Negoto ja Night~”, next May. As the name suggests, this will be Negoto’s final tour, with the band dissolving after the final show at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO on July 20.
The demise of Negoto came about as the band discussed future activities leading up to the tenth anniversary of the band’s major label debut in 2020. During these talks, the members came to the conclusion that they had accomplished all that they possibly could as Negoto.

Today, Premium MelodiX! aired its year end special, MelodiX! Special 2018. The show was hosted by the hosts of Premium MelodiX!, Nankai Candy, along with Maki Goto. MelodiX! Special 2018 featured performances by the likes of Koda Kumi, Morning Musume. ’18, DA PUMP, Thelma Aoyama, Masaharu Fukuyama, Da-iCE, CHEMISTRY, and TRF. Asahi Nao was the talk guest. On December 31, CDTV Special! Toshikoshi Premier Live 2018→2019 will air. The first set of performers was recently announced and features the likes of Sandaime J Soul Brothers, Daichi Miura, Nogizaka46, Kis-My-Ft2, DA PUMP, Nishino Kana, EXILE, and King & Prince. The second set of performers has now been revealed and this list includes names such as hitomi, LiSA, Aqours, Touken Danshi, Leo Ieiri, Ohguro Maki, SHISHAMO, Vickeblanka, and HKT48. On December 26, MISIA will release her new album, “Life is going on and on.” This is her first album since Janaury 2016’s “LOVE BEPOP.” “Life is going on and on” will contain the singles “Kimi no Soba ni Iru yo” and “Ai no Katachi”, along with new tracks, giving the album 12 songs in total. One of these new songs is “AMAZING LIFE”, which will serve as the ending theme for the film “Gekijo Ban Darwin ga Kita! Africa Shin Densetsu”, out January 18.
“AMAZING LIFE” is one of the songs on “Life is going on and on” that was recorded in London. The limited edition of the album contains a photobook of MISIA in London during the album’s recording.
