Earlier today, Utada Hikaru went live on Instagram for the second episode of her series “Jitaku Kakuri-chu no Hikaru Paisen ni Kike!” After the first episode, many international fans expressed their disappointment at her not answering any English questions. She promised to answer English questions in this week’s episode, and she did.

This week’s episode featured JUJU. Miura Haruma served as guest host this week, mirroring the NHK travel show “Sekai wa Hoshii Mono ni Afure Teru”, which he hosts with JUJU. The two looked back on JUJU’s career. Yoshida Yo, Tsutaya Koichi, and Oda Kazumasa also made video appearances to speak about JUJU.

“M Ai Subeki Hito ga Ite”, the drama based on the rise to fame of Ayumi Hamasaki, starring Kalen Anzai, is currently airing on TV Asahi and AbemaTV. On May 27, the drama’s soundtrack, “‘M Ai Subeki Hito ga Ite’ Sound Collection + A VICTORY Special Sampler”, will be released.

“‘M Ai Subeki Hito ga Ite’ Sound Collection + A VICTORY Special Sampler” will feature two CDs. The first CD will contain various music clips used in the drama, like that 90s softcore porn music that plays whenever Masa’s eye-patched secretary Himeno Reika appears (there’s even a clip just for her eye patch). It will aslo include “CAN’T STOP THIS!!” by the new generation Avex supergroup REVIVE ‘EM ALL 2020, as well as the real Ayu’s “M.”

The second CD of “‘M Ai Subeki Hito ga Ite’ Sound Collection + A VICTORY Special Sampler” will feature the music of A VICTORY, the label that stands in for Avex in the drama. It will feature the classic Avex songs covered by Avex’s new generation acts that were reported on earlier. It will also feature the demos that Masa listens to in the drama, as well as the original version of “CAN’T STOP THIS!!” by MAXIMIZOR.

The limited edition of the soundtrack will also include a 40-page photobook.

During the current coronavirus pandemic, Apple Music has enlisted artists such as Sam Smith, Selena Gomez, The 1975, and Diplo to create playlists as part of its “STAY HOME” project. This project has now expanded to Japan, with the name “At Home With Apple Music ~Uchi de Sugosou~.”

Hey! Say! JUMP delivers a surprise new music release to fans. Their new song “Stupid” and its promotional video is exclusively delivered on video streaming platform GYAO! It will be available until June 30, 2020.

The PV is more like a lyric video, stylish and mysterious set against the backdrop of a city. Hey! Say! JUMP doesn’t appear in the video but fans will be able to recognize who’s singing by the member color hints of the lyrics, which surprisingly is in mostly English.
