Actress Yui Aragaki will finally be making her way back to the drama scene!She has been cast as one of the leading roles in NTV’s upcoming drama series “Oyabaka Seishun Hakusyo“. She will be joined by Tsuyoshi Muro and Mei Nagano.
Aragaki will play the role of Sachiko, the deceased wife of Muro’s character Taro. The plot follows Taro, a 40-year-old widow who takes care of his daughter Sakura (Mei Nagano) alone. He works as a novelist, and always tried his best to be a great single father.
With college coming soon for Sakura, Taro is worried because her college will be co-ed and Sakura has only ever attended all-girls schools. To put his worry to rest Taro decided to enroll into the same university as his daughter!
Filming for the drama series began this month, it will make it’s debut in August, 2020. Aragaki’s last drama role was NTV’s “Kemono ni Narenai Watashitachi”, released in Fall 2018.
