Cinderella ranked 1st for 3 consecutive weeks. In total, the movie has mobilized 2.67 million people and earned 3.3 billion yen, which would give a good flow to connect to the new Disney movie “Tomorrowland” which will open on June 6.
Moving up to 2nd place from 4th last week is Biri Gal. The movie also showed high performance on weekdays and in total, earned 1.2 billion yen.
Detective Conan ranked third, Dragon Ball Z moved down to 6 and Fast and Furious 7 moved up to 4th. FF7 already earned 2.04 billion yen and is expected to soon reach 2.8 billion yen, giving the series its best record.
For the new movie, live action film adaption of the love comedy Nounai Poison Berry debuted at 7th place. Shown in 316 screens, the movie mobilized 90,417 people in its two-day opening, earning 123,171,300 yen.
