“Namiya Zakkaten no Kiseki” (The Miracles of the Namiya General Store), dubbed as the “most tear-inducing” story adapted from a Higashino Keigo novel, topped the charts. The live action film starring Hey! Say! JUMP’s Yamada Ryosuke and Nishida Toshiyuki, directed by Ryuichi Hiroki, mobilized 167,787 viewers during its opening weekend and earned ¥209,868,700. The film attracted a wide range of audience from teens to 70’s, with male to female ratio of 3:7.
At no. 2 is “Asahinagu”, a manga live action movie starring members of Nogizaka46. The film attracted 94,000 viewers (¥126 million). While it has fewer screens, it has high patronage from mostly fans.
At no. 8 is “Yurigokoro”, a movie adapted from Numata Mahokaru’s mystery novel starring Yoshitaka Yuriko, Matsuyama Kenichi and Matsuzaka Tori.
