The cast for the two male leads for Haruka Ayase’s drama “Kyo wa Kaisha Yasumimasu” (I’m taking a break from work today) has been announced. Ayase plays a plain OL named Hanae Aoishi set to turn 30 years old. Sota Fukushi (21) and Hiroshi Tamaki (34) will be joining her.

Fukushi plays the cool handsome university student Yuto Tanokura, who is 9 years younger than Hanae. Tamaki plays Yu Asao, the CEO of an Italian food company located in the same building as Hanae’s company, who harbor feelings for her.   

In the drama, plain OL Hanae never had dating experience until she finds herself dating 21 year old Yuto Tanokura after a one night stand she cannot remember. However, she also gets a proposal from Asao Yu who is popular with women, and a love triangle develops.

The drama will be airing every Wednesdays, 10 pm starting October.
