Ren Meguro of Snow Man is the cover boy for anan issue #2243, out March 24. This issue marks the first time that Ren has appeared on the cover by himself. This issue of anan is the annual sex appeal special issue. Ren appears in this issue as a “new generation sex appeal icon.”
In the accompanying gravure shoot, titled “Kodokuna Otoko no, Ame no Yoru” (“Lonely Man’s Rainy Night”), Ren appears as a lonely man at home on a rainy night. Ren had a hand in producing the photoshoot, including the cover image of him in the shower. He said thought of sexy things and stories, including movie scenes, while doing the gravure shoot.
