There is now something more official coming out of Johnny & Associates about the SMAP issue. Natalie is reporting that on the January 18 episode of “SMAP x SMAP”, all 5 group members will appear together to make a statement about the current issues within the group.
Several sources, including Sankei Sports and Sponichi Annex, are reporting that this statement will say that the group plans to stay together and at Johnny & Associates. SMAP will also supposedly apologize for the turmoil of the past few days and explain what exactly was happening during this whole fiasco.
