It’s been a long time since Attack on Titan had hit the airwaves in 2013, and became an international phenomenon. Ever since the ending of the first season, Attack on Titan watchers have been patiently (and painfully) waiting for the next. The wait is now over! An announcement on the wrap around on the 21st volume of Attack on Titan manga has set the air date for the second season for April 2017. Koizuka Masashi will be director for this season, while Araki Tetsuro will serve as the show’s chief director.
Even though fans have had Attack on Titan related entertainment during the anime’s hiatus, we know they’re happy to receive this news.
