Hoshino Gen Releases “Doraemon” PV on His Recently Unlocked YouTube Channel

As previously reported, Hoshino Gen’s new single, “Doraemon”, out February 28, will serve as the theme song for the new movie “Eiga Doraemon Nobita no Takarajima.” One of the single’s B-sides, “Koko ni Itai Anata e”, will serve as an insert song in the movie. Another one of the B-sides, “The Shower”, is a collaboration with STUTS. This collaboration came about after Gen named STUTS’ 2016 album, “Pushin'”, the best of that year.

The DVD that comes with the limited edition of the single features around 70 minutes of content. The first part features Gen’s alter ego Nise Akira learning how to ski, while the second part features footage from last year’s TV Asahi Dream Festival.

Gen has no released the music video for “Doraemon.” This video is now available for viewing worldwide, seeing as how Gen’s YouTube channel dropped its restrictions a few weeks ago.
