On September 9, Hata Motohiro will release his new single, “Q & A.” The song serves as the theme song for the movie “Tenku no Hachi”, which opens in theaters on September 12. One of the B-sides on the single is titled “Koi wa Yasashi Nobe no Hana yo.” It can currently be heard in the Maki Horikita-fronted CMs for Kracie’s Ichikami line of hair care products. The limited edition of the single comes with a special 44 page booklet in honor of Motohiro’s 9th anniversary.
Today, Motohiro released the short music video for “Q & A.” The clip was directed by Bamba Shuichi, who has previously worked with the likes of Shiina Ringo, Seiko Oomori, and BUMP OF CHICKEN. The video was shot earlier this month, during a shoot that lasted all day. In the pv, Motohiro can see playing his acoustic guitar in the scorching wilderness, and falling down a slope. Check it out after the jump, along with the covers and tracklist for the single!
