Oricon Combined #1 / Billboard Hot 100 #1 / Oricon Physical #1: Johnny’s WEST – Ame Nochi Hare (not available for download or streaming)
I like that they tried to make a real song for once. Their whole comedy angle was really grating. This song makes me look at them in a different light. The song itself isn’t anything special, but it does have a heartwarming, nostalgic feel to it that I enjoy. 6/10
Oricon Digital Singles #1 / Billboard Download Songs #1: LiSA – Gurenge (Oricon Combined #5 / Billboard Hot 100 #5 / not available physically or for streaming)
I like the dynamics of this song, how it alternates between these softer and more forceful parts. It creates a constrast and tension that keeps the song interesting. I also enjoy how the song’s more ethereal elements complement the harder rock sections. 7/10
Oricon Streaming #1 / Billboard Streaming Songs #1: Aimyon – Marigold (Oricon Combined #9 / Billboard Hot 100 #4 / not in the Oricon Physical top 50 / Oricon Digital Singles #7 / Billboard Download Songs #6)
Same review as before: This is actually somewhat enjoyable. There is a nostalgia to the song that brings a sense of comfort. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it is quite pleasant. 6.5/10
