Ayu was diagnosed with anaphylactic shock, a serious allergic reaction that is rapid in onset and may cause death. Its symptoms include itchy rash, throat or tongue swelling, shortness of breath, vomiting, lightheadedness, and low blood pressure. These symptoms appear in a few minutes to hours.
Common causes of anaphylactic shock include insect bites and stings, foods, and medications. Other causes include latex exposure and exercise. Some cases also occur without an obvious reason.
After a discussion with her doctor, it was announced that the November 7 concert would be canceled.
