Belated Valentines Day, Arama!

For the occasion, ORICON STYLE released results for one of their most popular yearly polls touching on a woman’s perception of an “ideal man”.

Arashi’s Aiba Masaki tops the ranking. A wide range of women seem to have been fascinated by his smile. “Because being with him must be a lot of fun. I want to see that smile a lot!” (Hyogo / 10s), “A lover that will make you forget about sad things. I think we’ll spend a lot of happy times together.” (Chiba / 50s ), “Surprisingly he seems like someone you can rely on.” (Osaka / 40s)

In second place is Arashi’s Sakurai Sho. Women are fascinated by his intelligence, being a university graduate at Keio University Faculty of Economics. He is also a newscaster for “NEWS ZERO” (NTV) since 2008. “I love him because he’s intelligent and cool, but is also considerate.” (Toyama / 30’s) “Seems like he will plan our dates very seriously.” (Tokyo / 10s) “When we think he’s perfect in everything, he also can be air-headed and clumsy sometimes. So adorable that it’s unbearable!” (Chiba / 30s)

Fukuyama Masaharu who topped the rankings last year is down to third place this year. His surprise marriage to actress Fukiishi Kazue may have a little influence. In addition to the top 2 positions, other Johnnys also ranked. Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi in 5th, Kinki Kids’ Domoto Tsuyoshi in 7th, Yamashita Tomohisa in 8th, and V6’s Okada Junichi in 9th place.

Nishijima Hidetoshi is in 10th place. Women are “attracted to his adult charm and cute smile (Chiba / 30s), “Friendly, reliable” (Aichi / 50s)

Entering the chart for the first time is Kubota Masataka in 4th place and Dean Fujioka in 6th place. Last year Kubota appeared in “Flowers for Algernon” (TBS) and played a starring role in “Death Note” (NTV). He has a large number of work and topped the “2015 Breakthrough Actor” ranking. He has played a variety of roles, but women are also attracted to his bright personality shown in variety . On the other hand, Dean Fujika appears in the hit Asadora “Asa Ga Kita” and is also currently appearing in the drama “Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai” (TBS) playing a Do S character.
