Yu Yamada is pregnant with her second child. She is currently in stable condition as revealed by a close acquaintance. She is expected to give birth in February or March of next year.

Yu Yamada and Shun Oguri married in 2012 and the two have a daughter together. Their first child was born last September. It has been mentioned they want at least three children. She asked for everyone’s warm wishes since it’s still too early to tell if anything will happen.

In an interview with a fashion magazine two months ago, Yamada talked about how cute her child was: “(The baby’s) doing different things lately like making funny expressions. When I see that figure, I think “Ah, this is happiness!” My child gives me the will to keep on living.” At a conference for a drama, her husband, Shun also commented on their adorable child, “I’m really happy. My child is really, really cute. I’ve got to give it my all for this child.”
