It was announced that V6 and Hey! Say! JUMP are this year’s main personalities for “24-hour TV ~ 38 Love Saves the Earth”, to be broadcasted this summer. The announcement was made during NTV’s “DASH ItteQ” 4 hour special on April 5.

The theme for 24-hour TV this year is” “to connect~a smile beyond time~”. This is also the first time for the program to have “two generations personality”.

V6, for the “adult generation” will serve as main personality for the first time in 15 years since 2000. Leader Sakamoto Masayuki comments “It is important to smile to connect” and jokes that Okada Junichi might be able to connect the entire Japan with a smile.

Hey! Say! JUMP of the “young generation” will serve as main personality for the first time. Yamada Ryosuke comments “Actually we are still very confused…we just heard of this a few hours ago” and says it was his wish to stand on this stage someday. Hikaru Yaotome “I am so nervous now, same as during the time we debuted”.

“24 Hour TV~38~Love Saves the Earth~” will air this August.
