Opening at no. 1 is High & Low The Movie 3 Final Mission, the third film in the “High & Low Project” project starring EXILE TRIBE. On its opening weekend, the film attracted 237,212 viewers and earned ¥303,829,900. This is around 14% lower than the previous film “High & Low The Movie 2 End of Sky” released last August 19. Including advanced screenings with stage greetings and live viewing, the film sold a total of 282,505 admissions (¥428,036,200)
Horor film IT had an impressive weekend, gaining over 20% in admissions and revenue compared to its opening weekend. The number of screens increased by 52, of which, 31 screens started screening the film on 4DX / MX 4D. Total revenue has surpassed ¥727 million.
Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka??: Dear My Sister , a 60-minute sequel episode to the TV anime second season in 2015, opened in only 40 screens but is able to debut in 4th place. The film mobilized 79,471 viewers and earned ¥101,769,740. The film achieved a high per-screen average of ¥2.55 million yen (about US$22,497) and is expected to earn ¥500 million total.
