Actress Saki Aibu (30) married her non-celebrity boyfriend on 3rd May. The happy news were officially announced by her agency to the media and on the actress’ personal twitter account.

Aibu met her husband through common friends and he has proposed to her at the end of last year. Although the media reported the actress is in a relationship and hinted the possibility of marriage in near future, her fans were still surprised by the sudden news.

The actress wrote: “I, Saki Aibu, got married today, on 3rd May. I will keep on moving forward in my professional and private life, in the same way I did up to now.”

Saki Aibu started acting in 2002, first appearing mostly as bubbly and girly lead or second leads. In 2008 she has been cast as Riiko in the adaptation of the manga ‘Zettai Kareshi‘. However, in the coming years Aibu switched to supporting roles. She found herself a perfect niche of intelligent, tough and often evil or at least ambiguous young women. This season she can be seen in the drama ‘Boku no Yabai Tsuma‘.
