It has been announced that Ichiro Yamaguchi, the frontman of Sakanaction, will enter a period of rest due to poor physical condition.
Since May, he has felt fatigue. He has consulted his bandmates, staff, and management since then about how to continue activities. In June, we received a diagnosis from a doctor, who suggested that he enter a rest period.
Sakanaction’s “SAKANAQUARIUM Adapt NAKED” tour was supposed to start on June 14, but has been postponed. The band has also postponed their joint shows with Underworld, “Creativeman presents Underworld Sakanaction;”, set for this July 6 and 7.
There is no word on when these shows will take place, or when Ichiro will resume activities.
