Perfume are currently gearing up for the release of their 7th studio album “FUTURE POP“

The girls recently debuted a brand new song titled “Let Me Know” on their radio show to the excitement of fans. When audio was released however, Perfume’s fanbase seemed to be split in the middle.

Many thought the overall sound for the track was a regression for Perfume, just sounding generic overall. Some fans even cited a clear inspiration from Western pop, namely Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, which is quite far from Perfume’s usual style.

Others have praised the song however, calling it “addicting” and the track only increasing the anticipation for “FUTURE POP”.

Considering “Let Me Know” is getting it’s own MV, the track is very likely to be one of the major promotional songs for the album. The other album track that will also be receiving it’s own MV is “Everyday”.

“FUTURE POP” will be released on August 15th, 2018.
