The comedian is currently living in New York “to soak up American culture and the creative energy of the city, and to learn a little more English.” The interview discusses her career in Japan and her desire to expand her career overseas. It also discusses her embracing of her plus-size body, especially in Japan, a country where women’s weight has been on the decline since the 80s.
