This year Tokyo Girls Collection 2022 Autumn/Winter will be held at Saitama Super Arena on September 3rd. The theme will be called “GOING MY RUNWAY” to show support for diversity as well as TGC’s openness to change with the times, which has allowed more fans to enjoy the show at any time and any place due to online distribution. This will be shown through colorful runways to represent people’s individuality.

Some special stages this year include the appearances of Ryoma Takeuchi and Yuko Araki from the hit drama “Roppongi Class.” There will also be a section on the Virtual TGC app that reproduces the set of the TBS drama “Ride a Unicorn.” Singer Rainy, who debuted in April with the digital single “Find the Truth”, (which was used as the ending theme for the official spin-off of Detective Conan, “Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time”) has had her latest song “All or Nothing” selected as the official theme song for TGC 2022 Autumn/Winter where she will also appear as an opening act. 

The TGC official metaverse “Virtual TGC”, which was officially launched on March 14, 2022, has been updated with new features. In addition to adding many new clothing items for the avatars that incorporate TGC’s 2022 Autumn/Winter trends, fans will also be able to view highlights from the show. With Virtual TGC there will be a collaboration with the popular metaverse KPOP girl group aespa. Clothing items that correspond with the costumes (4 types in total) worn by the four aespa members in the “Girls” MV will also appear for users’ avatars. 

Limited time content will also be distributed for premium VIP members. This time it will be an exclusive stage by the 9-member girl group Girls2 who are currently popular with the teen demographic.
