Tonight, MTV VMAJ 2017 -THE LIVE- was held at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST. This was the live portion of the MTV VMAJ 2017. Some of the winners appeared in person, while others sent in taped messages. The big winner of the night was Hoshino Gen, who took home the night’s top prize, Best Video of the Year, along with his trophies for Best Male Video -Japan- and Best Choreography. The show also featured performances by MONDO GROSSO x Mitsushima Hikari, Daichi Miura, KICK THE CAN CREW, BUCK-TICK, Keyakizaka46, WANIMA, THE RAMPAGE, Momoiro Clover Z, BiSH, and BLACKPINK.
