First Trailer for Otoko no Issho Starring Eikura Nana and Toyokawa Etsushi

Eikura Nana stars as Dozono Tsugumi, a woman who gave up on love before meeting 52-year old man Kaieda Jun played by Toyokawa Etsushi. The movie is a live-action film adaptation of Nishi Keiko’s Otoko no Issho (A Man’s Lifetime) manga. The first trailer has been released which also features the song “Hold me, Hold you” by JUJU.

Otoko no Issho will open on Valentines Day, February 14, 2015. Prior to this, the movie will premiere at the Tokyo Film Festival, which is being held from October 23 to 31. That makes 2 of Eikura’s movies to screen at the festival, together with “MIRACLE: Devil Claus’ Love and Magic”.

Other cast include Mukai Osamu, Ando Sakura, Maeno Tomoya, Ochiai Motoki, Negishi Toshie and Hamada Mari.

Plot:

Dozono Tsugumi (Eikura Nana) works at a large electronics company in Tokyo. She likes to spend long vacations at her grandmother’s house in the countryside. One day, her grandmother passes away and Tsugumi decides to live in her grandmother’s house while working from home. She finds a strange middle-aged man in the house. The man’s name is Kaieda Jun (Toyokawa Etsushi).

Kaieda tells Tsugumi that he is her grandmother’s ex-student and her grandmother gave him a key to the annex house. Tsugumi, who does not know the exact relationship between her grandmother and Jun, begins to live with him.
