really happy for Quartet such a great drama and kou-chan really good taiga it hook me up really hard.

I started watching Tokyo Tarareba Musume. Although pretty predictable (unfortunately I think it’ll have a kawaii happy ending, ugh), I kinda feel like Rinko. The way the girls describes her feelings and thoughts is very realistic. It is hard to know what to do sometimes when you face your adulthood, which is progressively getting harder and harder while time goes by. I have some of those struggles in my life too (thought I’m not womam and I’m not in my 30s haha). Good to know that the dorama is doing well.

wow, why is totsuzen’s rating keep dropping :|

      • Fp

?? The latest episode was 6.4, definitely did better than previous couple of episodes. It was a relief.

I read at gchan it had ratings boost due to a 2nd live commentary audio option which was hilarious. Don’t understand how it works though

        • hizurisama

          dunno why, I thought the drama would at least get good ratings like nigehaji since both also have marriage theme in it. And Mariya is such a cutie too ;__;

          • pondloso

it don’t have hype power from cute song and dance step
for me it on the same level an ok drama not bad but noting excited.

FujiTV ratings are sad. Getsuku still the top rated slot for them despite averaging @6.81 with 5.0 the lowest point. Karina’s Yuuki ave @6.62, lowest 5.9 and Koyuki’s Daibinbo ave @5.05, lowest 4.0 (but they are up against A LIFE. A stupid new death slot by FujiTV).

No wonder there’s a rumor they’ll firing Fuji CEO if they couldn’t revive getsuku next season.

      • Reileen

Uso no Sensou is the highest rated FUJI TV drama slot this season. With double digit ratings, w/c has been a while for Fuji tv. Well it stars Kusanagi too.

        • FrozenLand

Uso no Sensou was produced by Kansai TV and aired on both Kansai TV and Fuji TV as part of a pact between these 2 TV stations.

Fuji TV doesn’t treat Uso no Sensou as one of their own dramas.

          • Reileen

It really doesnt change the fact that it’s aired on Fuji TV and its ratings are performance numbers for Fuji. Production and cost wise it may be different

            • FrozenLand

I’m not sure if the others see it this way, since Kansai TV is the one who pumped in the money to produce Uso no Sensou.

It’s just like how TBS dramas are aired on MBS. TBS are the ones who pumped in the money. Not MBS.

They probably want answers as onto why a drama produced by another TV station could garner ratings when aired on Fuji TV but dramas that are produced and aired on Fuji TV couldn’t.

              • Reileen

I guess whay I’m saying is, people watching won’t care about the difference. What they see on Fuji tv is a Fuji tv drama. And even the company won’t make a distinction when say, reporting on the overall ratings of primetime dramas. It is still Fuji tv ratings on paper. Even the tabloids bashing on ratings won’t care to explain the difference. If it bombs, it’s still a failure on Fuji TV. Altho of course it makes a lot of difference behind the scenes.

Anyway, it remains to be seen whether they can revive their ratings and whether their Johnnys × getsu9 plan will work out for next seasons.

                • FrozenLand

I’m saying that because your reply to Fp’s “No wonder there’s a rumor they’ll firing Fuji CEO if they couldn’t revive getsuku next season.” was Uso no Sensou’s ratings.

Uso no Sensou still the best!!!
      I love you, Kiko!~
