    • Gross and stale.

      • As much as I like Nakata, based on the samples and the songs that we know from before, maybe with a very few exceptions, this really does not sound good.

          He’s wayyy past his prime.
10 years ago I would have been extremely excited about it. Right now? Not really.
His time is long gone. He’s washed out since a while now. I really don’t get why he waited so long for going solo since he’s barely relevant anymore today.

          • Well, it isn’t really a proper solo album actually, more like a collection of random solo works, collabs, soundtrack and remixes he did the last couple of years, with a few additional new tracks. I think it is one of the reasons why it sounds like a complete mess.

But I really don’t think he is past his prime. I loved the latest Capsule album a lot and also, Kyary’s and especially Perfume’s songs from last year were the best he’s done for them in quite some time.

I just hope this solo thing will be nothing more than a detour and he will start working on some new Capsule material soon..

      DJs don’t age well.

      • already with the black and white filter yet i still can see that dark circle and eye wrinkle >_>

I wanna like it because I like him (met him a few years ago in Kanazawa, pretty chill guy) but…I’m not hearing anything in those samples that remotely catches my interest :/

i like it quite a bit. really works as an album, too.

He’s covering his face on that pic cause he’s ashamed.
