Utada Hikaru Releases Music Videos for “Sakura Nagashi” and another “Hanataba wo Kimi ni”

In preparation of her upcoming new album Fantome, music videos for Utada Hikaru’sHanataba wo Kimi ni” and “Sakura Nagashi” have been released to her YouTube channel.

“Sakura Nagashi”

Sakura Nagashi” was originally released digitally November 17, 2012. The song acts as the theme to the third film of the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series, EVANGELION:3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.

In commemoration, a new “Sakura Nagashi” music video was produced by Studio Khara of EVANGELION:3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.

According to her staff Twitter, “Sakura Nagashi” will only be available to watch on her channel today, so watch it while you can! It doesn’t actually feature her so don’t be to upset if you miss it.

“Hanataba wo Kimi ni”

Hanataba wo Kimi ni” was originally released digitally April 15 and is used as theme to the dorama Toto Neechan.

Due to popular demand, a collection of fan’s videos and photos were compiled of times when they received a bouquet (the song title being “A Bouquet For You“). A second video of the same is in the works.

Additionally, Utada will perform “Sakura Nagashi” on Music Station Ultra Fes on September 19 during the 5PM-10PM JST timeslot.
