Shishido Kavka Chops Off Her Signature Luscious Locks in New Music Video

On October 4, Shishido Kavka will release a new digital single, “Haneda Blues.” The song is a collaboration with Yokoyama Ken of CRAZY KEN BAND. The song, which was written by Ken, is the first in a three month collaborative project.

“Haneda Blues” is a throwback to the Showa era and has a music video which features a drastic image change on Kavka’s part. In the clip, she cuts her trademark long hair, 50 centimeters of hair, in fact. Check out the video and more below!

Pretty girls can do whatever they like to their hair and still manage to look pretty.

Wow. Not everyone can pull that off but she just does! I will even dare to say she looks better.

    • She looks good.

      Beautiful either way

Gorgeous before but even more so after. The first thing you see is her beautiful face, not a curtain of hair. I think people get too caught up in the whole ‘girls MUST have long hair’ thing, meaning many hang onto their long hair when it doesn’t really suit them.
