Girl group AKB48 has teamed up with Kyoraku, one of Japan’s top manufactures for Pachinko machines.
Pachinko is a mechanical game technically categorized as an arcade system, but it is most frequently used as a gambling device. Numerous franchises including Neon Genesis Evangelion, Devil May Cry, Sakura Wars, and Fist of the North Star all have their own successful Pachinko machines.
In the celebrity world talents such as Ayumi Hamasaki, GACKT, Koda Kumi, and “Avex All Stars” (Every Little Thing, m-flo, globe, hitomi, Maki Goto, Ami Suzuki, etc.) have all had their own machines.
AKB48 has been collaborating with Kyoraku for quite some time now, but the latest round of visuals have been released. The collaboration is called “PACHINKO AKB48-3”, and a preview performance of “Zankokuna Ame” was uploaded to YouTube, performed by members Rino Sashihara and Yuki Kashiwagi. Check it out below!
